    Midwest Engraving was established in 1965, in Cincinnati, Ohio. The business was started by Bill Johns as a one-man shop, and within two years had expanded to five employees. The company continued to serve the printing industry from the Cincinnati location until 1970 when Bill decided to return to his home state of Kansas. After months of planning and preparations Midwest Engraving, with key employees, were relocated to the present location in Paola, Kansas.

 

    Midwest Engraving, despite  the ups and downs of the economy, has continued be a major provider of  Embossing and Foil Stamping Dies to all the major companies that manufacture Greeting Cards, Graduation Announcements, Wedding Announcements, Diploma Covers, Business Cards, Pocket Folders, Paper and Leather Products and the Printing/Finishing industry in general.

    One of the company's biggest accomplishments is the pioneering of the Premade (fiberglass) Counter, which was started back in Bill Johns' days with the Greeting Card Companies.

 

    Midwest Engraving's goal is to provide the highest quality Embossing Dies to enhance products with a striking 3-dimensional image and Foil Stamping Dies to create a rich embellishment by stamping Gold, or any variety of colors and special effect foils, to create a dazzling effect.

    We maintain a close working relationship with each of our customers,  provide technical assistance and guidance when needed. The ability to meet our customer's needs is paramount!
